Our Credentials

SCC has attained the most rigorous accreditation possible for early childhood programs in the country. The Center has maintained accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) since its inception in 1992. This year we went through our renewal process and below is an excerpt from the Academy's letter to our program.

Welcome to Sylvania Children's Center. We are a fully licensed, educational child care center with an excellent reputation in the neighborhood. Our center is committed to providing quality child care specialized for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. 

Our Programs

We strongly believe in offering a program that promotes healthy development in all aspects by creating a warm, loving, safe, positive and fun environment.

Imagination, creativity, play and meaningful work prepare children for learning and life. At SCC we believe in the preservation of childhood, so children are allowed to grow and develop at their own pace. We provide opportunities for children to develop positive self-concepts and see the world as filled with the possibilities, and that it is a beautiful place to be.
